Thomas Hauert takes part in Pierre Droulers’ “Walk, Talk, Chalk”
In Walk, Talk, Chalk, Walk stands for movement, Talk for word and Chalk for the mark or trace. In each module of his triptych, Pierre Droulers tries to penetrate to the root of the following question: how does man make his existence tolerable? He moves, talks and creates... In Walk he questions the birth of movement, in Talk he examines the links between text and movement, and between language and gesture, and Chalk focuses on unbridled creation. This passionate Brussels choreographer deliberately opts for a short and intense production period. Urgency as a way of achieving highly distilled work. He surrounds himself with a strong team of dancers, artists, a stage designer and a composer. Forceful and independent personalities with whom he has already made intriguing productions in the past.
